In re-designing our 7-passenger CX-9 for 2013, #Mazda engineers shared a goal of tuning it to drive like our sports cars. From a recent long-term evaluation by The Dallas Weekly:
“…It cruised effortlessly at almost 80 mph. It stayed center...ed, it crept up to 90 mph with just a nudge on the gas.”
“It was easy to forget that the CX-9 was a utility vehicle ... the MacPherson strut front suspension combined with the multi-link rear suspension made for a car-like ride; steering was feathery and there was not a lot of body sway.”

There's nothing like good news to close out the week. Our 2014 #Mazda6 with #SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGY has just been awarded an "Advanced" rating from the IIHS, in addition to its "Top Safety Pick+" status.
The new designation recognizes i-ACTIVSENSE technologies aboard the new '6, such as milliwave radars and cameras that support the driver in recognizing hazards, avoiding collisions, and minimizing damage should accidents occur.
